It's been cold after cold after pink eye after ear infection after cold after pink eye (you get the point) around here. Scarlett is thriving at daycare, but keeps bringing home everyone's germs. It's become booger city. My parents and I both keep catching it as well.
Scarlett loves going to "school" and "school" loves Scarlett. I couldn't be happier. At first they were kind of blowing off the fact that Scarlett uses sign language to communicate. But now they tell me that every day they have "Scarlett sharing time" where Scarlett shares all of the signs she knows. They are amazed with her communication. I couldn't be prouder :) She's also repeating everything. I can't believe how much she knows already.
Scarlett gets very attached to certain toys and puts one in each hand when she crawls around. This results in many belly flops on the floor as her hands slide out in front of her while she's crawling. You'd just have to see it...adorable!

| Here Mommy, you can have one of my blocks! |

I'm so glad to read that Scarlett is thriving at daycare! And so good they're encouraging her signing. Sorry to hear about all the colds tho, we've had a cold for just the last week & it's been awful, I can't imagine weeks & weeks of it!! At least spring will be here soon & hopefully that means less germies!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Scarlett is doing so well. I hear you about the germs, and your time management is impressive.
ReplyDeleteIt is so hard to find "me" time. Those moments are few and far between. They actually feel foreign when they do present themselves! I'm so glad to hear that Scarlett is doing well in daycare. Being in a good place with that makes ALL the difference in the world. Enjoy this new phase and your precious little girl!
