...and I would chop off my left foot if I could just have some Tylenol Cold and Sinus....I'm just so congested and I can't sleep and I can't function with the pressure in my sinuses...last night was me propped into a sitting position in bed so I didn't get much sleep. And although I stayed home today and SR napped for 3 hours, I wasn't able to sleep at all. Plus, I'm reading a great book...Gone Girl...one of those where I can't put it down at night.
SR is doing a lot better. She still has a terrible cough and is just beginning to eat again. I'm reluctant to send her back to daycare tomorrow, only because they spend up to two hours outside and it's still VERY cold and her cough/cold is bad...and I really should take another day off work, but I'm not planned for a supply for tomorrow. I have emergency plans, all sheets run off for a day of busy work...but it's last year's schedule inside so I'm really not prepared at all. I'll try to get through the morning/day tomorrow...if it's a struggle I'll set up for the afternoon and/or Friday. I'm also away Tuesday next week for Passover...then Good Friday and Easter Monday I'm off...and then the following Tuesday again for Passover. It's just a lot of planning to be away.
I have more to say but my head is so congested I can't think straight....

ReplyDeleteYes, feel better very soon! (I hope this weekend helps kick the cold!) Oh, and don't I know all about needing to take a day off and worrying that classroom plans are not sufficient. Try as we may, there's just no substitute to being there. We teachers keep a lot of information in our heads. If we wrote it all down, it would take a 3 inch binder to contain our instructions!
