Today was my 20 week u/s. Everything is going really well. All the parts are in all the right places, and the baby is even measuring at 21 weeks 0 days, instead of 20 weeks 1 day....I'm a little worried b/c that puts me a week ahead and I have a c-section booked for week 39....SR was delivered at 37 1/2 weeks. I really wanted to make sure my OB did the c-section...I really don't want to go into labour and have any OB on call cut and stitch me up. I'll have to discuss it with my OB when I see him next week.
Today was bittersweet - possibly the last time I see my RE as a patient (although my mom was quick to point out "what if you want a third?" LOL, my dad would FREAK OUT!!!). I will have to take my two little ones to visit him when I feel up to it after the baby is born.

I love that I can see all of the little facial features. I should also post what SR looked like at the 18 week scan for comparison:
Okay, so it's hard to tell b/c it's a different angle, but I loved that I could see some of her features as well. I think the new baby's u/s really captures the little nose, cheeks, and chin so well. I can't wait to see if the two look alike.
Okay, so the wait is over....the baby is a BOY!!!! Now I can start to imagine our life together as a family.
In other news, SR and I had such a wonderful weekend. It was Family Day on Monday - It is an official holiday in Ontario...I think to give families a long weekend and break up the blahs...and SR and I spent the whole weekend together having a blast. Here are two cute pictures of us together.
